January 29, 2006 I've posted a four more templates today. Yup. All by myself. They're found on the Kisekae page. Doll #16 Lenore has been sent off to Otaku World. She's a big girl. She can handle it. I've been spending most of my time either in class, at work, or obsessing about old stuff on my blog Vintage Stitch-O-Rama. Or asleep. I think I got a few hours left in there to sleep. What? Oh, dolls. I should be making more dolls. Yes, dolls. Damn. I knew I'd forgotten something. |

| So what's the heck's a Strange Pursuit? For starters it's a Devo song off their second album Duty Now For the Future (1978). But it can also be whatever the hell I happen to be freakishly obsessed with at the moment. Kisekae dolls, metalsmithing, body modification, bad art, textiles, reproducing vintage clothes, spinning yarn and who the hell knows what else. Collecting antique books, magazines, photos, albums, movie memorabilia, autographs, clothing, jewelry, beads, fabrics, and sewing patterns. Bear in mind that I can easily make something my life's work for six months or so then drop it like a hot rock. Blah blah blah. |
